Come hear selections from Buffalo Opera Unlimited’s upcoming (September 22 and 24) production of Puccini’s beloved opera “Madama Butterfly,” appropriately set among the flowering cherry trees of Buffalo’s Japanese Garden.
Soprano Holly Bewlay as Cio-Cio-san will perform the aria “Un bel di vedremo.” She will be joined by tenor Robert Zimmerman as Lieutenant B.F. Pinkerton in the love duet “Vogliatemi bene” and by mezzo-soprano Kaleigh Sutula as Suzuki in “Tutti i fior” (known as The Flower Duet).

The lead role of Cio-Cio-San will be sung by Holly Bewlay, Associate Professor in Voice at SUNY Buffalo State.
The Magic Flute:

This shortened version will be sung in English, and will staged to attract young and old alike.
